Baba Novak LIVE @ Berăria H – September 18th, free entry #OnTheTerrace

On September 29th, the band Baba Novak takes the stage at Berăria H for the very first time, performing on our lakeside terrace with a high-energy show full of authentic folk-rock.

On April 19th, Baba Novak released the track “Zbor Liber” (Free Flight), a composition by Nicu Covaci (music), with lyrics written after his passing but always keeping his memory alive – an emotional tribute marking the start of a special year for the band.

This year, the band will release their debut album – “Cântecele Haiducilor” (Songs of the Outlaws) – featuring nine original compositions, some of which will premiere during their concerts. The project is a folk-rock fusion of pieces inspired by Romanian cultural heritage, keeping the free-spirited essence and hope of the haiduc tradition alive through time.

Baba Novak continues to carry forward the artistic legacy and message of Nicu Covaci, “the last true outlaw of modern society,” who entrusted them with his confidence and some of Phoenix’s legendary compositions.
